Job DescriptionTHE ROLE

You will act as the trusted advisor for key customers, helping them on their journey to extract value from data. Day-to-day you will interact with senior stakeholders to understand the opportunities that exist to drive business value from data and translate those opportunities into technology solutions. You will be the technical authority within each customer you work with and help to steer the customer in the right direction from a strategic perspective.

RESPONSIBILITIESActing as a trusted advisor and thought leader for key, strategic customersActing as a technical authority within customers to advise them on complex technical issuesTriaging customer requirements/use cases and assembling the right team of experts to deliverEngaging with senior customer stakeholders to steer their data platform strategy in alignment with business needs

QualificationsREQUIREMENTS

Experienced in the delivery of complex data and AI solutionsStrategic and operational decision-making skillsAbility to guide, direct or influence peopleAbility to identify opportunities and issuesWillingness to learn based on feedbackAble to help others developWillingness to stay up to date with the latest trends, technologies and best practicesExperience working within agile, fast-moving environmentsUnderstanding of data platform methodologies and architecture approaches (Kimball, Inmon, Data Vault, Data Mesh, Data Products, Lakehouse''s, etc)The ability to document architectural designs in the form of conceptual, logical and physical modelsAbility to discuss enterprise data and the impact on a business including master data management, data quality, data literacy and initiatives such a single customer viewAbility to present technical solutions in a way that engages both technical and non-technical stakeholdersWhat about technical skills?Deep technical experience (multiple, complex solutions delivered) in at least 1 of the following:Azure DatabricksMicrosoft FabricAzure Synapse AnalyticsPublic Cloud Experience in Azure and/or AWSSubject matter expertise in at least 3 of the following areas:Data EngineeringData ModellingData Strategy / GovernanceData VisualisationData Science / AIDevOps / Cloud InfrastructureApplication DevelopmentExperience of TOGAF, DAMA or a similar architectural framework(nice to have)Experience of data management tools such as Purview, CluedIn, Collibra, Informatica or ProfiseeCertifications (Nice to have)Databricks Certified Associate / ProfessionalDatabricks Partner Solution Architect ChampionMicrosoft Azure Certifications Data Engineering, AI, Solution ArchitectureAdditional InformationWe dont believe hiring is a tick box exercise, so if you feel that you dont match the job description 100%, but would still be a great fit for role, please get in touch.
