Our high-achieving 11-18 thriving department school in Kensington is seeking a Passionate Biology Teacher to join their well-resourced Science department. The successful Biology Teacher will teach KS3-KS4 Science, with potential opportunities to specialise at KS5 Biology. This Biology Teacher role is ideal for someone passionate about Biology education and joining a thriving Science team. TLR opportunities are possible for the right Biology Teacher to lead Biology initiatives. We are seeking a dedicated Biology Teacher for our Biology team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and challenging Biology lessons across Key Stages 3-4 (and potentially KS5 Biology).
• Inspire students to develop a deep understanding and appreciation for biological concepts.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice and enhance the Biology curriculum.
• Contribute to the assessment and monitoring of student progress in Biology.
• Potentially contribute to the teaching of Biology at A-Level, depending on experience.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Degree in Biology or a related field.
• Proven experience teaching Biology at secondary level (ECTs welcome to apply).
• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Biology education.
• Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire students in Biology.
• Demonstrated leadership potential and a willingness to contribute to the Science department (for TLR consideration for Biology).
