The company supplies laboratory testing products and equipment to a variety of routine and research life-science laboratory segments including Hospital, academia, and industry. Overview of the Position The Sales and Purchase Ledger Assistant will be based in the V.H. Bio Headquarters Team Valley Trading Estate, Gateshead. Reporting to Finance Manager, the position will be to oversee all sales and purchase aspects of the company and to assist with the running of the general office to provide a courteous, prompt and efficient service to all customers. As the Sales and Purchase Ledger Assistant, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operation and maintenance of the sales and purchase ledger process. You will ensure that each transaction will run smoothly, efficiently and to deadline by following company procedures, compliance and legalities. Tasks and Responsibilities (including but not limited to): Sales Ledger / Sales Order Processing: Processing customer orders through to invoicing. Maintaining and updating the sales ledger database and to ensure all transactions are accurately recorded.
