Blue ArrowJob Description:We are on the lookout for a proactive and proficient Site Engineer to support the maintenance of all machinery and equipment, ensuring their seamless and efficient operation. This role presents significant growth opportunities within the company for the right individual.Key Responsibilities:Respond to mechanical breakdowns and assist with machinery adjustments.Diagnose and rectify faults.Uphold machinery maintenance programs and records.Assist in managing an inventory of spare parts.Maintain a clean and organized workshop and oversee tool control on site.Enhance and maintain building infrastructure.Provide coverage during holidays and sickness.Act as a deputy for the Chief Engineer and assist with administrative tasks as needed.Complete all relevant documentation.Collaborate with managers to implement and enforce company policies and procedures.Ensure adherence to relevant UK laws.Person Specification:Essential:Solid educational background.Experience in mechanical and engineering fields.Customer-centric approach.Strong communication skills.Proficiency in PC and analytical skills.Personable and positive demeanor.Professional conduct.Desirable:City and Guilds/NVQ/HND/Degree.Experience in welding and fabrication.Basic electrical knowledge.Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff.Team-oriented.Detail-focused.Work Pattern:Various working hours available.Based on a 37.5-hour work week.If you are an enthusiastic individual with a passion for engineering and maintenance, we would love to hear from you.
