Vice President of Enterprise Sales (Central US)

Our customers, which include the world’s leading logos, are expanding how they use our platform, driving automation of critical customer service operations and integrating PolyAI into their daily customer service workflows.As the VP of Sales (Central) at PolyAI, you will be responsible for defining and executing the sales strategy, expanding our customer base, and ensuring revenue growth within the Central US. You will lead a team of Account Executives, establish strong relationships with key clients, and contribute to the overall success of the company.

Key Responsibilities:Sales Strategy and Planning:Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with PolyAI''s business goals and market opportunitiesDefine and monitor sales targets, KPIs, and performance metricsContinuously assess market trends and competitive landscape to adapt and refine the sales approachRecruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing sales teamFoster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning within the sales organizationProvide guidance and coaching to maximize the team''s potentialEnsure the team is enabled on product, industry landscape, and internal processCustomer Relationship Management:Build and nurture strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholdersUnderstand customer needs, challenges, and pain points to tailor solutions and maintain high levels of customer satisfactionAct as a trusted advisor to clients, ensuring they realize the full value of PolyAI''s solutionsWork closely with Customer Success to deliver high renewal and upsell ratesRevenue Generation:Drive revenue growth by meeting or exceeding sales targets and quotas with strong linearityIdentify and pursue new business opportunities and partnershipsNegotiate and close complex, high-value dealsRealize a high participation rate across the teamMarket Analysis and Insights:Stay informed about industry trends, competitive developments, and emerging technologies in the conversational AI spaceUtilize market insights to inform product development and sales strategiesReporting and Analytics:Implement robust sales reporting and analytics tools to track performance and provide regular reports to the executive teamUse data-driven insights to make informed decisions and optimize sales processesWe’d love it if you have:Experience selling Contact Center/Customer Experience solutions to enterprise-level organizations5+ years of leadership experienceExperience with AI solutions in the contact center or customer experience spaceExperience selling direct to customers and via alliances/channel partnershipsHistory of achieving quota as a leader and individual contributorKnowledge of industry landscapeExperience selling on technical and value differentiators

We provide a competitive salary range for this role, which is $380,000-$420,000 OTE depending on level and experience. Please note this range is intended as a guide—not a guarantee. Final compensation will be based on individual qualifications, relevant experience, and the scope of the role.
