The successful candidate will play a key role as the first point of contact for technical support, providing hands-on troubleshooting and on-site assistance while maintaining excellent customer service standards. Key Responsibilities for the IT Technician role: • Act as the first point of contact for client IT support requests via phone and email. • Install, configure, and maintain software, hardware, and network systems. • Diagnose and resolve technical issues across Windows, Mac OS, and server environments. • Repair and replace faulty components to ensure minimal downtime. • Manage cybersecurity measures, including antivirus and firewall installations. • Provide technical guidance to help improve solutions and customer satisfaction. • Maintain and update technical documentation. • Test and deploy new hardware and software prior to rollout. • Support clients with broadband, leased line, FTTC, and FTTP connections. • Complete internal administrative tasks including quotes, purchase orders, and job sheets. • Log work clearly for ISO and accountability purposes.
