Role: Engineering Converter Manager (HVDC)Location: Warwick (Hybrid)Duration: 6 Months Overview As Converter Engineering Manager, you will lead the technical development and delivery of new HVDC converter stations across the interconnector portfolio. This includes developing the project technical definition, managing the engineering scope from early concept through FEED, procurement, and into delivery.You will ensure converter systems are designed and integrated to meet performance, safety, and regulatory requirements, working closely with OEMs, internal teams, and European partners. Spec Lead the converter station engineering scope across development and delivery phases.Manage technical interfaces between OEMs, civil contractors, and internal engineering disciplines.Develop and review converter station specifications, design criteria, and performance requirements.Interface with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated design solutions.Work with the Global Procurement team through to support procurement activities by preparing technical documentation, evaluating bids, and responding to supplier queries for main civils contracts.Ensure compliance with CDM regulations, planning requirements, and environmental standards.Represent NGV in technical meetings, design reviews, and stakeholder engagements.Provide input to cost estimates, schedules, and risk assessments.Maintain high standards of health, safety, and environmental performance in all activities.Produce reports, ..... full job details .....
