Join Us as Our New Head of Governance and Assurance. Bron Afon is offering a fantastic opportunity for an experienced governance professional to join as our new
Head of Governance and Assurance .
We are looking for someone with a strong background in governance within a regulated sector—ideally housing—with a solid understanding of the regulatory framework for housing in Wales. You will value robust governance and can confidently and constructively challenge leadership, recognizing the importance of your contribution.
This is an exciting time to join Bron Afon as we improve our customer service, upgrade our digital systems to become a more agile and modern organisation, and deliver much-needed new, energy-efficient homes.
Responsibilities
Provide governance and assurance leadership to the organisation, ensuring robust governance arrangements across the board.
Challenge leadership confidently and constructively, recognising the value of your contribution to decision-making processes.
Maintain and develop understanding of the regulatory framework for housing in Wales and ensure compliance across all activities.
Support continuous improvement of governance practices in a regulated environment.
Qualifications
Experienced governance professional with a background in a regulated sector, ideally housing.
Solid understanding of the regulatory framework for housing in Wales.
Ability to influence and challenge leadership in a constructive and professional manner.
