Futures are looking to appoint a CNC Team Leader for a high-precision manufacturer based in Leeds our client supply to a number of highly regulated industries such as aerospace, medical, defence, and nuclear. The successful CNC Team Leader will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining 3 to 5 axis CNC machines to manufacture high-spec components. The ideal candidate will have experience working within regulated environments and demonstrate strong attention to detail, particularly in quality control and documentation practices.CNC Team Leader Key Responsibilities:• Set up and operate 3 to 5 axis CNC milling or turning machines to produce precision-engineered parts• Interpret complex engineering drawings and work to tight tolerances• Adjust machine settings and tooling as needed to optimize performance and quality• Conduct in-process inspection and ensure all components meet strict quality standards• Maintain documentation for traceability, including job cards, inspection reports, and quality records• Collaborate with quality and engineering teams to resolve issues and improve processes• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal proceduresCNC Team Leader Requirements:• Proven experience operating 3 to 5 axis CNC machines in a highly regulated industry (e.g. aerospace, medical, defence)• Ability to read technical drawings and apply GDandT principles• Familiarity with quality control procedures, measurement tools, and inspection techniques• ..... full job details .....
