Security and Resilience Consultant - SC Cleared Location: Swindon, SN2 (2 days/week on site minimum) Contract: 6 months IR35: Inside Rate: 700- 800/day (Umbrella, DOE) A high-profile public sector organisation is seeking a Security and Resilience (SandR) Consultant to lead the development and delivery of a comprehensive SandR maturity framework. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in strengthening operational security, risk management, and business continuity.Key Responsibilities:Develop a maturity framework covering physical security, personnel security, travel risk, and business continuityAlign framework to GovS 007, industry standards (e.g. ISO, BSI), and statutory requirementsDesign and deliver annual audit processes and dashboards with maturity scoringCreate templated processes and executive reporting tools to support risk management and "get well plans"Deliver the first round of audits across multiple organisational unitsTrain internal SandR professionals to embed sustainable, repeatable processesSupport leadership presentations and contribute to the annual DSHC returnEssential Skills and Experience:Operational SandR experience in complex, federated organisationsProven expertise developing/delivering maturity frameworks and audit processesISO Lead Implementer qualificationDeep knowledge of GovS 007 and Departmental Security Health Check (DSHC)Comfortable working independently and managing senior stakeholder engagementWillingness to travel across UK ..... full job details .....
