Role responsibilities:

- Making inbound and outbound calls to customers regarding outstanding payments
- Providing a high level of customer service with empathy and professionalism
- Speaking with customers experiencing financial difficulties and collecting key information
- Negotiating affordable payment plans in line with company policies
- Referring vulnerable customers to relevant internal departments or support agencies
- Maintaining accurate customer records and updating the CRM system
- Supporting customers with advice and signposting where appropriate

What we’re looking for:

- Experience in a call centre, customer service or collections role
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic with an empathetic approach
- Comfortable working to KPIs and in a target-driven environment
- Able to work under pressure and use initiative
- Familiarity with CRM systems and general IT competency
- Must live within a commutable distance to the Sheffield office
