Multi-Drop Van Driver

Pay Rate: £13.00 - £17.00 per hour

We are currently recruiting experienced Multi-Drop Van Drivers for ongoing work based in Thurrock.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established drinks distribution operation delivering premium wines and spirits to restaurants, hotels, bars, retailers and hospitality venues across London and the South East.

The Role

• Driving a 3.5T long wheelbase van.
• Completing multi-drop deliveries throughout London and surrounding areas.
• Delivering premium wines and beverages to hospitality customers.
• Loading and unloading cases of wine and spirits.
• Completing delivery paperwork and PODs accurately.
• Using a handheld device/app to record deliveries, obtain proof of delivery and update delivery statuses in real time.
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks.
• Providing exceptional customer service at every delivery point.
• Ensuring deliveries are completed safely, efficiently and on time.

Requirements

• Full UK Driving Licence (Category B).
• Minimum 1 year's van driving experience.
• No more than 6 penalty points.
• Previous multi-drop delivery experience preferred.
• Good knowledge of London road networks.
• Comfortable using delivery apps, handheld devices and electronic proof of delivery systems.
• Physically fit, as the role involves manual handling and lifting cases of wine.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Professional, reliable and presentable at all times.

Shift Pattern

• Monday to Friday.
• Start times from 07:00.
• Typical shifts based around 8–10 hour days.
• No overnight stays required.
