Are you a confident and commercially astute Quantity Surveyor looking to take the next step in your career?

We’re working with a well-established £200m turnover main contractor, known for their consistent delivery of high-quality refurbishment projects across the social housing and public sectors. Based out of their modern Croydon office, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a stable and supportive commercial team with a strong pipeline of work.

The Role:

• As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in managing the commercial aspects of planned refurbishment works across:
• Social housing schemes (kitchens, bathrooms, windows, roofs, communal areas)
• Public sector buildings (schools, libraries, community centres)
• Projects will typically range in value from £500k to £5m, offering you the chance to manage multiple schemes concurrently in a dynamic environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Cost planning, budgeting, and forecasting
• Subcontractor procurement and management
• Monthly valuations and CVRs
• Client liaison and reporting
• Ensuring financial performance aligns with project goals

About You:

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally with a main contractor
• Background in refurbishment and/or planned maintenance works preferred
• Excellent commercial acumen and negotiation skills
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
