Data Governance Lead

Our legal and regulatory client in Birmingham are looking for a Data Governance Lead to join their team.Overview of role: You will be supporting the organisation s approach to increasing their levels of data maturity. You must demonstrate your ability to own and steer the enterprise-wide data governance programme to enable decisions to be made on trusted, well governed data. The role balances strategy (policies, standards, operating model) working with other business units to meet regulatory obligations and unlock analytics value. Deep Knowledge of introducing and applying DAMA-DMBOK, ISO, DCAM, or equivalent frameworks Strategic thinking and systems orientation Data quality analytics Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to manage data governance initiatives and lead teams.
