Maintenance Engineer (Plant)

within the Maintenance and Facilities department. Lufthansa Technik are a global leading provider of maintenance, repair, and overhaul services for the civil aviation industry.This Maintenance Engineer position is on a permanent basis and has become available due to continued growth and expansion. In this role the primary responsibility is to ensure the maintenance and repair of all plant equipment and facility areas, ensuring optimal operational efficiency and safety.Role Responsibilities

Maintain and repair all equipment and facility areas to agreed standard, with the ability to identify detailed faults.Complete daily checks to machines and equipment, including statuary checks, within skills capabilities and skills approvals.To work shift and provide out of hour call in support.Identify spares required in proactive timescales.All duties shall be undertaken in compliance with Safety, Environmental Regulations and Company procedures.An awareness and understanding of responsibilities outlined in the Company''s environmental procedures.Skills and Experience

Extensive experience preferably within a similar role within plant maintenanceMechanical/electrical backgroundWorking at heightsKnowledge of pipework (PVC)Good understanding of pumps and motorsPreferred understanding of gas ovens / chiller units / rectifiersPreferred understanding of air handling units / air conditioningShift, Salary and Benefits
