Job Purpose Our client is looking to recruit an experienced hands-on Safety, Health, Environment and Quality Advisor with a can do attitude. This is a fast-paced role, in a growing business, requiring someone with a proactive mindset, flexible approach and an attention to detail. The successful candidate must be highly organised, reliable, and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Roles and Responsablitlies Managing and maintaining the various reporting systems. Compiling statistics for reports and presentations. Completion of customer accreditation documentation. Developing and writing internal health and safety procedures/docs including safe operating procedures, toolbox talks, safety alerts and one-point lessons. Be an active member of the monthly safety committee and be prepared to chair the meeting when necessary. Investigating / recording accidents of Injury, Near Miss, Environmental and Cases of Ill Health. Carrying out site safety inductions and monitoring safety critical training requirements, advising and training staff on best work practices. Monitoring environmental impacts, objectives and targets. Conduct audits (ISO, internal site, customer site, operator) Supporting sites with the implementation of the appropriate safe systems or work. Monitoring EdApp / MYC systems for compliance. Liaising with relevant authorities where required. Suggesting improvements to current working processes driving continual improvements. Lead external audits ..... full job details .....
