Responsibilities:- Safely operate a commercial vehicle, such as a flatbed truck, to transport goods and materials to designated locations - Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securement and adherence to safety regulations- Plan routes and follow delivery schedules to ensure timely and efficient transportation- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents or delays- Communicate with dispatchers, customers, and other drivers to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues that may ariseQualifications:- Valid commercial C1, HGV CLASS 2 license with a clean driving record- Proven experience as a truck driver, preferably with experience in flatbed and Hiab experience.- Ability to operate and navigate various types of trucks and Hiabs.- Strong knowledge of traffic laws, regulations, and safety procedures- Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with customers and colleagues- Attention to detail and a strong commitment to safetyJob Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: £13.50-£19.56 per hourExpected hours: 50 - 60 per weekBenefits: Free parking On-site parkingSchedule: 10 hour shift Day shift Holidays Monday to Friday Overtime Weekend availabilityExperience: Driving: 1 year (preferred)Licence/Certification: HGV Driving Licence (required) Driver CPC (required)Work Location: In personReference ID: Class 2 ..... full job details .....
