Environmental Specialist role at ArcelorMittalResponsibilities
Lead biodiversity and ecosystem assessments in line with ESRS E4 and TNFD guidance (e.g., LEAP assessments) in collaboration with business units.Develop guidance and support key business operations to develop and maintain biodiversity management plans.Support the integration of nature-related risks and opportunities into corporate strategy and reporting.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed nature-positive approaches into decision-making.Stay abreast of evolving regulatory and voluntary frameworks related to biodiversity and ecosystems.Contribute to stakeholder engagement, including NGOs, regulators, and industry groups.What you will gain

Strong understanding of biodiversity, ecosystems, and nature-related financial disclosures.Familiarity with ESRS E4, TNFD, and related environmental reporting standards.Experience conducting biodiversity assessments, ecosystem service evaluations, or nature-related risk analysis.Experience with global nature datasets (e.g., IBAT) and GIS.Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.Academic background in environmental science, ecology, conservation biology, or a related field.Proactive, collaborative mindset with a passion for driving positive change.Advanced level in English; knowledge of additional languages is an asset.How we recruit
