We''re supporting a well-established specialist civil engineering and reinforced concrete contractor with the appointment of a Quantity Surveyor to join their growing commercial team. The business delivers complex groundworks, RC frame and structural packages across technically challenging projects.

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially driven QS looking to take ownership of key packages within a structured and supportive environment.

Reporting into a Senior Quantity Surveyor or Commercial Manager, you will be responsible for managing the commercial aspects of your allocated project(s) from procurement through to final account.

Key responsibilities include:

• Subcontract procurement and package management
  
• Contract administration (NEC predominantly, with some JCT exposure)
  
• Managing valuations, variations and change control
  
• Producing cost reports, forecasts and CVRs
  
• Supporting subcontractor negotiations and final accounts
  
• Working closely with operational teams to monitor cost and risk
  

You will be given genuine responsibility while operating within a strong commercial framework.

• Experience working as a Quantity Surveyor within civil engineering, groundworks or RC frame environments
  
• Working knowledge of NEC contracts
  
• Strong commercial awareness and negotiation capability
  
• Confident managing subcontractor accounts and reporting
  
• Degree qualified (Quantity Surveying or similar) preferred
