Due to growth, they are now seeking a QHSE Assistant to join their team.You will support the QHSE Manager in implementing and maintaining quality, health and safety, and environmental standards on site. You ll help ensure compliance with BRCGS, A2 permit, ISO standards, and customer requirements, contributing to a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement. The RoleSupport compliance with standards including BRCGS, A2 permit, ISO 14001.Deliver HandS inductions for new employees.Promote a culture of safety, quality, and compliance.Review and improve QHSE procedures and documentation.Ensure compliance with environmental permits and legislation.Assist in risk assessments and safe systems of work.Provide accurate QHSE data and reports.Contribute to internal audits and ensure audit readiness.Record and monitor product quality in line with customer expectations.Support initiatives to reduce defects, incidents, and environmental impact.Help develop and deliver QHSE training.Assist in maintaining QHSE performance data and strategy.Investigate customer complaints and identify corrective actions.Liaise with teams on QHSE matters and support communication of key updates.Uphold hygiene and housekeeping standards across the site.
