Randstad CandP are currently seeking an experienced Static Multi-Skilled Engineer to join our clients Facilities Management team on a static commercial site in Darlington. This is a full-time, permanent position working Monday to Friday. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality maintenance and reactive services across a wide range of building systems.Benefits:Competitive salary up to 40,000 per annumMonday to Friday, 40 hours per week33 days annual leave (including bank holidays)Generous pension schemeCompany sick payOngoing training and development opportunitiesKey Responsibilities:Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and respond to reactive repairs, with a primary focus on plumbing, heating, and gas systems.Perform a wide range of plumbing tasks, including leak detection and repair, pipework modifications, and fixture maintenance.Conduct servicing, maintenance, and fault-finding on gas boilers and other gas appliances.Apply your skills across other trades, including minor electrical work and general building maintenance.Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with company and statutory regulations, with a strong focus on Gas Safe protocols and point-of-work risk assessments.Maintain accurate records of all maintenance work, including details of completed tasks, materials used, and any follow-up actions required.Key Requirements:NVQ Level 3 or equiavlent (City and Guilds) in PlumbingCommercial Gas Safe qualifications ..... full job details .....
