Academics is looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to provide full-time 1:1 support to a KS2 child with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), starting after the Easter holidays. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a supportive school environment and make a real difference to a child''s education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 support to a child with ASD in a KS2 classroom
- Assist with learning, communication, and social skills development
- Support inclusion and help the child access the full curriculum
- Work closely with teachers and parents to implement individual learning plans
- Monitor and report on progress, challenges, and achievements
What we''re looking for:
- Minimum 6 months'' experience working with children in the UK
- Enhanced DBS or willingness to apply
- 2 years'' worth of references
- Experience supporting children with ASD is highly desirable
- Patience, creativity, and strong communication skills
