RandD Laboratory TechnicianLocation: Northfleet MillContract Length: 6 MonthsPay Rate: 12.21 per hourRole OverviewThis role is a member of the EMEA RandD Laboratory Team, reporting to the RandD Laboratory Team Leader. The position is responsible for carrying out physical testing for the EMEA RandD Team, ETLs, and mill teams in accordance with the Quality Management System (QMS).Duties and ResponsibilitiesAlways work safely, complying with the Northfleet Mill Safety Policy and maintaining a safe working environment by applying 5S housekeeping standards.Comply with the client QMS.Adhere to the appropriate Standard Test Methods or procedures.Conduct timely and accurate physical testing of consumer products as requested, reporting data in the appropriate format or as requested by the customer. Testing includes but is not limited to:Competitor AuditsRSRs/MSRs/ProjectsAd Hoc requestsTesting correlation checks (ticklers)Perform regular equipment verifications and calibrations in line with identified schedules.Provide in-mill trial support within EMEA as necessary.Maintain archived records and product samples.Apply LEAN principles to the working environment and practices, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.The IndividualStrong attention to detail and ability to thoroughly cross-check own and others'' work.Structured and organised approach to document and record management.Ability to work well within a small team and independently.Effective communication ..... full job details .....
