Maths and Economics Teacher - Brentford, West London

A high-achieving secondary school in Brentford are seeking an experienced maths and economics teacher.
This is a full-time, long term role starting in January 2026 or sooner for the right candidate.
Applicants must have experience teaching both maths and economics at Key Stage 4 and 5.
Working hours are from 8:30am to 3:30pm, with additional opportunities for sixth form enrichment and academic mentoring.
Salary will be paid in line with the London outer MPS/UPS pay scale.

* Deliver engaging and rigorous maths and economics lessons, ensuring students are well-prepared for GCSEs and A-level examinations.
* Use a range of teaching methods and real-world applications to build students'' confidence and deepen their understanding of mathematical and economic principles.
* Foster analytical thinking, numerical fluency, and evaluative skills that support success across both disciplines.
* Contribute to the continued success of the sixth form by supporting high-achieving students aiming for top universities and competitive degree courses.
* Collaborate within two strong departments to plan, assess and raise attainment, while maintaining high standards of behaviour and focus.

Qualifications and Person Specification:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
