3D Tekla Draughtsman Wanted!
Location: Leicester | Full Time
Salary: £35K-45K (DOE) | On Site

Due to continued growth, We are currently recruiting for an experienced 3D Tekla Draughtsman to join an expanding steelwork company based in Leicester with over 30 years industry experience.

This role is ideal for someone with strong 3D Tekla Design experience who has a keen eye for detail. You will be responsible for producing detailed 3D models and fabrication drawings for structural steel projects.  

Roles & Responsibilities

As a 3D Tekla Draughtsman, your responsibilities will include:

• Producing 3D models and detailed drawings using Tekla Structures
• Creating GA drawings, fabrication drawings and material lists
• Liaising with engineers, project managers and workshop teams
• Ensuring drawings meet client specifications and project requirements
• Assisting with project coordination from design through to manufacture
• Maintaining high standards of accuracy and technical quality

Requirements

• Experience using Tekla Structures within a structural steel environment
• Ability to produce detailed fabrication and GA drawings
• Experience working from engineering drawings and specifications
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Previous experience within structural steel, architectural metalwork or fabrication is highly desirable
