The Role As a Teaching Assistant within the SEMH provision, you will: Provide 1:1 and small-group support for children with SEMH and associated needs Build positive, trusting relationships and act as a consistent, calming presence Encourage emotional regulation, resilience, and confidence Support the class teacher with tailored learning activities Use de-escalation techniques and follow behaviour support plans Help create a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment Work closely with teachers, therapists, and external professionals What We re Looking For Experience working with SEN, ideally SEMH, challenging behaviour, trauma-informed practice, or alternative provision Ability to remain calm, patient, and supportive in ..... full job details .....
