A wonderful surgery in the Twickenham area of London are seeking an experienced Practice Nurse. We are a long established, teaching practice with over 8000 patients. We pride ourselves in excellent patient care and are seeking a hardworking, enthusiastic Practice Nurse with experience and training in long-term conditions to join our expanding practice team. This is a permanent post.16 hours per week. 8.30am until 5.30pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Hours and day may be negotiable for the right candidate.The post-holder will implement and lead on a full range of promoting and managing their own and others health and safety and infection control as defined in the practice Health and Safety policy, the practice Health and Safety manual, and the practice infection control policy and published procedures. The practice makes use of the EMIS clinical system.Main duties of the job

The ideal candidate will be an experienced Practice Nurse who is pro-active in the development of nurse competencies to meet practice needs.Desirable skills/experience includes but is not limited to: childhood immunisations, adult immunisations, travel vaccinations, cervical cytology, contraception, chronic disease management, spirometry, ECG, phlebotomy, annual diabetic / asthma checks, QOF related admin etc.Overview of organisation
