Engineering Service Manager We are working with a key client, founded in 1960, is a Leader by Design of high and low-pressure cartridge valves, reducing stations, and manifolds for critical and demanding applications. They are currently recruiting for an experienced Engineering Service Manager to join their business in Oldham. Key Skills required of the Engineering Service Manager: Must have proven working experience in Service Management, Aftermarket Support, Maintenance or Technical Operations within engineering or manufacturing. We require strong understanding of mechanical assemblies preferably valves, manifolds or fluid/gas systems. Experience of developing or scaling a service or an aftermarket function. Working experience in engineeirng manufacturing sector is required. Demonstrated commercial capability including pricing, forecasting and cost-centre management. Must have strong process development and operational improvement capability. Experience implementing traceability, QA and compliance systems ire required Must be proficient in ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office. Preferred Qualifications Degree in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related discipline (or equivalent practical experience). Experience within defence, nuclear, maritime or regulated industries. Knowledge of ISO 9001 and regulated quality environments.
