Experienced Optical Assistant – Monday to Friday, Doncaster, South YorkshireMy Client, an independent Domiciliary Company, is looking to recruit a full-time experienced Optical Assistant to work Monday to Friday, visiting Nursing and Care homes within Doncaster and surrounding areas, assisting the Optometrist with sight tests.The role:

Visiting Nursing and Care HomesAssisting the OptometristCarrying out full dispenses at all levelsCarrying out aftercare and fittingsAdministrative dutiesThis is a Monday to Friday role, no weekends.Ideal candidate:

Confident with at least 2 years experience within opticsGood clinical knowledge with excellent dispensing skillsHave empathy and a sympathetic approach as most patients will be elderly and some will have dementiaKeen team playerExperienced driver with at least 2 yearsEnjoy driving and being out on the roadIn return, you will receive a very competitive salary plus good bonus potential and a fully expensed company car.
