HGV Class 2 Skip Drivers – Afternoons/Evenings

Location: Leeds (LS9)
Pay: £16.25/hr, with the option to be paid holiday pay upfront, increasing the rate to £18.20/hr
Shifts: Monday to Friday, 15:30 – 22:30 (approx. 35 hours per week)
Type: Ongoing work, with temp-to-perm opportunities available
Weekend work: May become available depending on workload

We’re recruiting reliable HGV Class 2 Skip Drivers for ongoing work in Leeds with a national waste management and recycling company. This is a great opportunity for drivers looking to work afternoon and evening shifts.

About the role:

• Driving HGV Class 2 Skip and RoRo vehicles
• Safely collecting and transporting waste across the region
• Planning routes to ensure timely service
• Completing relevant paperwork for collections, deliveries, and incidents
• Providing excellent customer service and communication
• Promoting safe and responsible waste handling
• Skip/RoRo experience preferred but not essential – full training will be provided

Requirements:

• Valid HGV Class 2 (C) licence
• CPC and Digi Tacho card
• Strong route navigation and vehicle handling skills
• Reliable, positive attitude, with good communication skills
• Commitment to safety and customer service
