Lead Mechanical Operator – SloughWe are seeking mechanical-minded individuals with a passion for maintenance to join the Mars Wrigley factory in Slough. Your practical mechanical experience is key, whether in maintenance of ships, cars, tanks, lifts, generators, or similar mechanical industries.Responsibilities

Take the lead for first line maintenance of several production machines, including operational decisions to achieve targetsIdentify and repair mechanical breakdowns on various machineryBe accountable for the performance of several machines, processes, or pieces of equipmentUse diagnostic tools and methods to identify root causes of problemsCoordinate a small team of operators and temporary associates to achieve line targetsAssist operators with daily production tasks to ensure line targets are metWhat we’re looking for

Minimum 1 year\''s experience managing and coordinating operatorsSkilled in diagnosing mechanical issues through systematic troubleshooting techniquesProficient in taking apart machinery to understand components and functionality, and reassembling it correctly to ensure optimal operationA keen eye for detail to identify faults or inefficiencies in machinery and ensure precision during assembly and disassemblyA commitment to ongoing improvement, including suggesting modifications to machinery or processes to enhance efficiency, safety, or performanceAbility to work effectively in teams, sharing insights and collaborating to implement improvements and resolve mechanical issuesKey responsibilities
