Contract Type: Permanent
FTE Options: 0.75 FTE (-3.5 days/week) or 0.60 FTE (-3 days/week)
Salary: £26,770 – £37,425 per annum (pro-rata)
About the Role
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive and forward-thinking further education college in Warwickshire as a permanent GCSE Maths Teacher. The role involves delivering high-quality resit Maths lessons to post-16 learners in a well-resourced, inclusive learning environment.
You will play a key role in helping learners who did not achieve a grade 4 at school gain the confidence and ability to progress in further education, apprenticeships, or employment.

Candidate Requirements
Essential

• A degree in Maths or a related discipline (e.g. Engineering)
• A recognised Level 5 Teaching Qualification (e.g. PGCE, CertEd, or equivalent)
• Previous experience teaching Maths in further education, secondary school, or adult education

Desirable

• Experience specifically delivering GCSE Maths resits
• Background in tutoring or small-group interventions
• Skilled in engaging and supporting diverse and often reluctant learners
• Familiarity with FE curriculum standards and frameworks
