Anderselite are currently recruiting on behalf of a tier one contractor, who''s looking to strengthen their Commercial team with a Senior Quantity Surveyor based at Burham WSW with hybrid working available.

You will report directly to the Commercial Manager and you will be expected to take responsibility for the Commercial Management of Project(s).

Key responsibilities will include:

andbull; Quantity surveying duties in respect of managing projects and work packages
andbull; Liaise with design, construction and supply chain teams to capture, analyse and control cost
andbull; Collaborative work with the client to ensure business requirements are met
andbull; Manage the main contract ensuring contractual notices and correspondence are identified and raised as necessary
andbull; Preparation and issue of subcontract documentation
andbull; Assist in the management and performance of subcontractors
andbull; Manage the preparation and agreement of applications for payment
andbull; The preparation of project cost andamp; value reports, budgets and forecasts.
andbull; Assist in the management and development of junior commercial staff
andbull; Ensure your own continuous professional development by participating in external networking/conferences/associations/groups, to stay current on industry changes and innovations.
andbull; Maintain a positive and solution oriented approach to work, providing open and honest feedback.
andbull; Undertake such other duties, training and/or hours of work as may be reasonably required and which are consistent with the general level of responsibility of this role
andbull; In all internal and external contact, present a professional and positive image of the department and MWH Treatment as well as maintaining mutually constructive, positive and beneficial relationships.
andbull; Take all reasonable steps to ensure appropriate confidentiality

About The Candidate:
Essential

Degree or equivalent
Working towards or have chartered membership of a recognised institution
Experience in utilities/civil engineering/MEICA sectors
NEC3 Experience
Desirable
Experience of managing and developing an individual or small team
