This is a day shift role with no weekend working, offering a stable schedule and a competitive salary of 50,000 per year. You will be responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing a fleet of public service vehicles (PSVs) to ensure maximum safety and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities of the HGV Technician:Carry out routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on PSVs and busesPerform fault diagnostics using appropriate tools and systemsEnsure all vehicles meet DVSA standards and company safety policiesConduct MOT preparations and associated remedial workMaintain accurate service records and job documentationWork independently and as part of a team to meet maintenance schedulesProvide support for vehicle breakdowns as required during shift hours Requirements of the HGV Technician:NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent)Proven experience working as a PSV, HGV, or Commercial Vehicle TechnicianStrong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systemsValid UK driving licence (PCV licence desirable but not essential)Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervisionStrong attention to detail and ..... full job details .....
