We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in the Winslow area. This full-time role is perfect for a teacher who is passionate about engaging students in mathematics and helping them achieve their full academic potential within a supportive and dynamic learning environment.



About the Role:


  • Design and deliver engaging, differentiated mathematics lessons tailored to a range of learning styles and abilities.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages active participation and enthusiasm for maths.
  • Track and assess student progress, offering clear, constructive feedback to support ongoing development.
  • Promote critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and mathematical confidence across all ability levels.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a consistent and effective approach within the mathematics department.
  • Take an active role in enrichment opportunities, including maths clubs, competitions, and school academic events.



The ideal candidate will:


  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a focus or specialism in Mathematics.
  • Experience teaching Maths at secondary school level is highly preferred.
  • Demonstrates strong subject expertise and a genuine enthusiasm for both maths and teaching.
  • Possesses effective communication skills and strong classroom management abilities.
  • Dedicated to creating a supportive and engaging learning environment that promotes academic progress.
  • Capable of inspiring students and encouraging a lasting interest and confidence in mathematics.
