Overview

Join us as a Management Accountant for a 15-month maternity cover, taking the lead on our personnel budget and Dublin financial operations. You''ll play a pivotal role in payroll, forecasting, and reporting, working closely with HR and senior finance leaders to keep our people plans and financial performance on track.

Responsibilities

Personnel responsibilities

Responsible for posting, forecasting, analysing and reporting for a £35m personnel budget, our single biggest cost line

Posting monthly payroll journal and accruals and prepayment of all personnel budget costs including freelance staff, insurances, recruitment, holiday pay etc

Checking payroll reports with support from FC/FD

Maintaining the annual forecast for 400 staff. Liaising with HR, FD/CFO to collate input

Support the annual budget process

Maintenance of track of pay rises against budget and support the annual pay rise process.

Responsible for input of analysis of personnel movements etc into HFM reporting system to Publicis Groupe

Support of Internal and External audits with payroll related queries

Dublin responsibilities

Responsible for timely, complete and accurate reporting of actual results, including posting monthly accruals/prepayments and reviewing the general ledger

Responsible for internal reporting of actual results to BBH management including PandL, Balance Sheet

Responsible for monthly review of Balance Sheet with the Financial Controller and addressing queries with ReSources management accountants.

Support the FC in management of External and Internal Audits

Qualifications

Essential

Part qualified accountant

Nice, outgoing personality, someone with energy

Able to liaise with departmental managers and resource managers

Accuracy and attention to detail

Good Excel skills pivot tables, lookups etc. Someone who can demonstrate they have looked after a large data set in excel

Self Starter, someone to take on and develop the role, manage their time to get the right inputs and outputs within deadlines

Ability to juggle many inputs, emails, discussions etc and feed into a meaningful forecast

Someone who challenges the way things are done and looks for better solutions

Analysis skills - able to provide insight into variances and business plans

Desirable

Experience of Advertising not essential but experience of media or creative business is desirable

Experience of SAP / Other large ERP
