We are seeking a Senior Quantitative Developer to play a key role in the design, build and validation of mathematical models that power our industry-leading market surveillance products. This position is for our Metrics team, who are responsible for the end-to-end delivery of our market abuse metrics and analytics.The successful candidate will combine excellent mathematical skills and proven industry experience with the ability to produce high-quality software.Responsibilities

Designing and implementing complex quantitative models and sophisticated pattern-detection algorithms for use across all TH product offeringsArchitecting robust systems for quantitative analysis and prototyping proprietary mathematical/statistical modelsLeading technical research efforts and implementing production-ready solutions using in-house big data languagesOptimising core algorithms for deep analysis of financial data, security pricing, and risk assessmentEnsuring production systems meet performance and reliability requirements across the technology stackTaking ownership of major components of the TH\''s quantitative infrastructureMain skills/competencies

Proven financial markets experience, ideally within an investment bank or hedge fundProficiency with C#, Python or another object-oriented programming languageExceptional mathematical and problem-solving skillsExposure to the fixed-income or commodities asset classesDeep understanding of derivatives and how they are priced (e.g. options, swaps, futures)Good knowledge of database technologies such as SQL, Postgres etc.Experience coaching more junior team membersAble to deliver projects to agreed deadlines with excellent prioritisation skillsLife at TradingHub
