This is an opportunity to take a lead role in the safety engineering of platform management systems, contributing directly to national defence operations.What you''ll be doing:You''ll report to the Product Safety Manager and be a key part of the Safety Engineering team, responsible for leading and delivering safety assurance activities across the life cycle of naval systems - from design and development to maintenance and support.Typical activities include:Defining safety work packages and planning against project milestonesLeading system-level safety analysis across hardware, software, and firmwareCarrying out and overseeing safety assessments such as HAZOPs, FMECA, FTA, FFA, and LOPASupporting and leading internal and external safety reviews and auditsProducing safety documentation to meet company and customer requirementsPresenting safety arguments and influencing technical decisionsStaying current with relevant safety standards and ..... full job details .....
