Job Description:
- Provideandnbsp;individualised supportandnbsp;to pupils withandnbsp;special educational needs (SEN)andnbsp;or those requiring additional help
- Assist the class teacher in deliveringandnbsp;engaging,andnbsp;differentiatedandnbsp;lessons and activities
- Foster aandnbsp;positive,andnbsp;safe, andandnbsp;inclusiveandnbsp;learning environment that promotesandnbsp;confidence,andnbsp;independence, andandnbsp;resilience
- Support pupils withandnbsp;academic,andnbsp;social, andandnbsp;emotional developmentandnbsp;both in and out of the classroom
- Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals to implementandnbsp;individual education plans (IEPs)andnbsp;and monitor progress
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Have experience working with children in a school or educational setting (desirable but not essential)
- Be aandnbsp;patient,andnbsp;empathetic, andandnbsp;adaptableandnbsp;individual with a genuine passion for supporting young learners
- Demonstrate a commitment toandnbsp;inclusive practice,andnbsp;safeguarding, andandnbsp;child wellbeing
- Possess excellentandnbsp;communication,andnbsp;teamwork, andandnbsp;organisationalandnbsp;skills
- Be enthusiastic aboutandnbsp;professional developmentandnbsp;andandnbsp;contributing to a positive school culture
