Quality Manager Our client is a well-established West Midlands manufacturer and distributor operating in the fire safety sector, supplying the fire trade and construction industries across the UK. They re a close-knit, hands-on SME with a strong culture and a stable, long-tenured team.Due to the planned retirement of their current quality professional, they re now looking for the right person to take full ownership of the quality function. Summary of the Quality Manager Role This is a full-time, permanent position with genuine autonomy. You ll inherit a well-maintained, fully functional ISO 9001 QMS and be trusted to run it, develop it, and put your own stamp on it. Reporting directly to the MD, you ll be the sole quality resource working closely with production supervisors and the workshop manager to drive quality standards from the shop floor up.There is also a clear growth path, with the business planning to pursue the EN54 standard in the near future giving the right candidate a significant compliance project to lead.
