FES023-E - Professor in Digital Engineering (Infrastructure and Built Environment) at

University of Greenwich .Based within the School of Engineering at the Faculty of Engineering and Science, this professorial role is part of our strategic transformation to focus on Digital Engineering, with emphasis on Infrastructure and the Built Environment. The post is based primarily at the Greenwich campus (London) and will provide academic leadership across our Digital Engineering portfolios, with operations across two campuses: Greenwich in London and Medway in Kent.Responsibilities

Lead and shape the strategic direction of the Infrastructure and Built Environment area.Champion curriculum innovation, lead research and enterprise activity, and ensure the highest standards of academic quality and relevance.Provide leadership within the School and Faculty, contributing to strategic planning, management, mentoring, and capacity-building across academic teams.Drive externally funded research activity aligned to the School’s strengths and research centres and ambitions; support the University’s goals in REF, TEF, KEF, and student satisfaction.Develop impactful research that aligns with sector priorities and delivers real-world value.Engage with industry and professional bodies; contribute to Teaching, Research, and Knowledge Exchange outcomes.Qualifications

Distinguished and visionary academic with an international profile in a relevant discipline.Proven track record of excellence in research, teaching, and leadership.Extensive experience in higher education or professional practice.Strong portfolio of successful research grant capture, peer-reviewed outputs, and engagement with industry and professional bodies.Details
