Processing and managing day-to-day UK payroll for approximately 1,700 employees.Acting as a key point of contact for payroll queries and providing expert guidance on payroll legislation.Conducting secondary checks on all payroll input and managing arrears/off-cycle payments.Ensuring compliance with tax, NI, pension, and statutory payment regulations.Supporting year-end activities, including FPS, P60, P11D and PAYE Settlement Agreements.Playing a key role in upcoming payroll systems transitions and supporting related projects.Maintaining accurate employee records and reconciling payroll outputs. Suitable Candidate for the Payroll Specialist vacancy: Proven experience running an in-house, end-to-end UK payroll.In-depth understanding of current payroll legislation and statutory payments.Confident in manual payroll calculations and secondary checks.Proficient in Excel (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables) and ideally familiar with Oracle and/or SAP.High attention to detail with strong organisational and analytical skills.A ..... full job details .....
