This role is placed within Aerospace - Gas turbine industry.RoleThe manufacturing operations engineer (MOE) will require basic understanding of project and manufacturing engineering, as the manufacturing engineer will support integrated product teams by setting up and maintaining Bills of Materials (BOM s), managing internal and external manufacturing-related activities, maintaining external supplier relationships, and interfacing with Quality Engineering to ensure that product and non-product are in line with company quality procedures and to disposition any non-conforming material. Manufacturing operations engineer will have background in metallurgy, joining operations, coatings, and additive manufacturing techniques are a plus but can be learned on the job. The vision for the role is one of ever-increasing responsibility and growth to eventually become either a technical expert or IPT Lead.
