Freight Sales Executive Location: WidnesSalary: Up to 45,000 + BonusHours: Monday-Friday, 08:30-17:30 (Office-based)Holiday: 20 days + bank holidaysWe''re working with a well-established freight forwarder who are looking for a highly motivated Freight Sales Executive to join their growing branch. This is primarily a sales-focused role, perfect for someone who enjoys building relationships, driving new business, and growing profitable accounts.This position offers the chance to work across sea, air, and road freight, with a focus on sea freight import/export (export bias), generating and winning business while supporting pricing and commercial decisions.Key ResponsibilitiesDrive new business and develop existing accounts, building strong, long-term client relationships.Respond to enquiries, proactively contact prospects, and convert opportunities into profitable accounts.Deliver sales targets, increase market share, and contribute to branch growth.Collaborate with operations to ensure smooth onboarding of new customers and seamless shipment execution.Prepare and negotiate quotes and pricing, ensuring commercial profitability (approximately 20% of role).Monitor account performance, provide market insight, and identify opportunities for upselling services.Maintain accurate records of sales activity, client interactions, and pipeline progress.Skills and Experience RequiredProven track record in freight forwarding sales (essential), ideally with sea freight knowledge.Strong ..... full job details .....
