Logistics Operative We are working with a respected Hereford based client for a Logistics Operative on a part time, permanent basis. This role is responsible for supporting the smooth flow of goods through the warehouse and dispatch function, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to health and safety standards. What You Can Expect Hourly rate: £13.50 Hours: Part time circa 20 hours per week, Monday Friday 9am-1pm A hands-on logistics role within a fast-paced manufacturing business. A supportive team with training and development opportunities What You Will Be Doing Picking and packing items for dispatch, preparing shipping labels, and ensuring orders are securely packaged. •Coordinating outbound shipments, confirming orders, and liaising with freight carriers and brokers. Handling documentation including invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and maintaining electronic shipping files using an ERP system Communicating with customers to provide order confirmations and respond to shipment enquiries. Following health and safety procedures and maintaining a clean, hazard-free warehouse environment. Working closely with supervisors and colleagues to achieve targets and resolve logistical issues. Completing daily and weekly activities open orders, adhering to housekeeping schedules, and attending toolbox talks.
