Proactive Personnel ltd are currently recruiting for our client based in the Castle Donington area for an experienced Sheet Metal Worker. Please be aware you MUST have experience to be considered for this role. You will be responsible for: Reading, interpreting and understanding of drawings and specification documentation Working with materials such as titanium and stainless steel. Working with sheet metal 0.7mm - 1.6mm Assembly Completing visual inspections Working to tight tolerances Maintaining a clean and saft working environment. You must have experience with: Shaping metal over blocks using hammers Use of Hand tools Inspecting, assembling and smoothing seams and welding joints Read and interpret engineering drawings. Qualifications: Apprenticeship in Sheet Metal Work - City and Guilds Certification Advanced Certificate in Fabrication Studies or Level 3 Qualified in Welding and Fabrication Leadership, training and coaching skills Hours of work: 07:00 - 15:30 Monday - Thursday, 12:00 Friday. Potentially moving to an AM / PM shift rotation.
