Full-Time Teaching Assistants / Support Staff

Location: East Grinstead
Pay: £89.05 – £100 per day
Hours: 08:30 – 15:30
Contract Type: Long-Term or Day-to-Day (Full-Time Preferred)

Supply Desk is a nationwide education recruitment company specialising in Primary, SEND, and Secondary education. We place support staff in both day-to-day and long-term roles across an extensive number of Primary and Secondary schools in East and West Sussex.

We are currently seeking committed, full-time Teaching Assistants and Support Staff for placements starting from September in East Grinstead. These roles are ideal for those looking for stability and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in primary classroom settings.

Whether you''re an experienced TA or someone passionate about supporting children’s learning and development, this is a great opportunity to gain valuable experience and make a difference.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the class teacher in delivering creative and engaging lessons
• Provide 1:1 and small group support, including to pupils with additional needs
• Assist with classroom setup and routine administrative tasks
• Help foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment

Requirements:

• Previous experience working with children in a school or similar setting preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A patient, caring, and proactive attitude
• An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to apply)
