Job DescriptionJob Role - Restaurant ManagerRate of pay - £48,500 (+service charge)Location - Windsor (Must Drive)POSITION OVERVIEW

? To be responsible for the smooth running of all restaurant services through close liaison with the Head Chef, Assistant Manager and service team.? To develop a well-structured team of food and wine service motivated to deliver the highest levels of service and guests care and exceed expectations at all times.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Manage, lead and motivate the team to enhance performance, achieve business goals, financial budgets and service standards? Mentor, train and coach team members - includes day-day coaching and OTJ training and formal training? Manage shift coverage, work load and resource distribution within and across teams? Monitor and evaluate team performance and conduct PDPs for team supervisors? Interviewing, hiring, induction and succession planning of staff? Manage departmental budge, PandL, Payroll

To develop, implement and monitor appropriate service and performance standards to ensure consistently outstanding guest experience for guests? Ensure all procedures and day-day performance comply with legislative and hotel guidelines e.g. Health and safety, food handling and hygiene legislation; good HK practice; FandB linen and uniform care? Identify, implement and monitor new standards to enable service excellence? Ensure all team members are enabled to deliver consistently excellent service

To manage, monitor and continually improve service and operational systems to enable seamless guest relations and comply with Hotel guidelines? Develop, deploy and monitor professional guest service systems e.g.: Reservation system; guest records? Manage and monitor an effective billing and cash management system i.e. Micros point of Sales? Proactively monitor and respond to guest comments and feedback? Drive innovation, identify and resolve issues and challenge current procedures to ensure continuous improvement of service and operational standards

To ensure the menu and environment is consistent with a luxury establishment in order to meet and exceed guest expectations and maximise business growth? Review and update menus to reflect Hotel status, industry trends and guest needs? Manage and maintain excellent condition and care of furniture, fixtures and equipment etc? Manage appropriate stocking and usage of linen, glassware, china and silverware? Ensure all team members display excellence in personal grooming and hygiene

To conduct sales and marketing activities in order to drive business growth and profit? Contribute to the preparation and implementation of FandB marketing plan? Plan, implement and monitor sales promotions and marketing activities as needed? Manage day-day brand business to maximise sales? Stay ahead of hospitality market trends and assess competition as needed

To provide effective day-to day communication with guests, colleagues and teams? To work across brands and partner with colleagues to harmonize procedures and share knowledge? To lead and facilitate Brand team meetingsQUAIFICATIONS and DESIRABLES? Hotel management diploma or university degree? Previous experience in a five star environment? Experience within a leadership role? Fluent written and spoken English? Sound knowledge of the hospitality industry? Business acumen and experience of budget management? Proven financial success and ability to analyse data? Service excellence? People management experience? Driven?
