Seeking to bolster their existing engineering teams, they are currently recruiting for a multi-skilled (Electrical or Mechanical bias) building services engineer to join them at one of their data centres in the Slough/Berkshire area. This will be working on a "continental" shift pattern, covering a rotating schedule of 12 hour shifts across both days and nights and providing 24/7 coverage to ensure 100% uptime for the site. Guideline salary for this position is between 52-55,000 depending on experience, along with a fantastic benefits package which includes annual bonus, healthcare, pension and the opportunity for overtime and healthy training budget.Candidates must be fully qualified in either electrical or mechanical engineering, ideally through a full apprenticeship, and with at least 5 years of experience delivering planned and reactive maintenance within a commercial building services environment. While advantageous, data centre experience is not essential and experience working on MandE systems within similar or adjacent environments such as pharmaceutical/healthcare/Corporate HQs are also worthy of consideration.
