Computer Science Teacher

to join a thriving ICT and Computing department. If you are passionate about digital technology and want to inspire the next generation of problem-solvers, innovators, and coders, we’d love to hear from you.As a Computer Science Teacher, you will teach across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the opportunity to deliver Key Stage 5 (A-Level or equivalent) depending on your experience. You’ll deliver a modern, engaging curriculum that includes coding, algorithms, cybersecurity, and computer systems. Beginning September 2025.Duties as a Computer Science Teacher:Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons in Computer Science

Teach programming languages such as Python, Java, or HTML/CSS (depending on curriculum)

Prepare students for internal assessments and external examinations (GCSE and A-Level if applicable)

Support a culture of innovation, digital literacy, and technical problem-solving

Provide students with real-world applications of computing in society and industry

Contribute to extracurricular activities such as coding clubs, competitions, and tech projects

Ideal Computer Science Teacher:Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

A degree in Computer Science, ICT, or a related subject

Strong programming and computing knowledge (Python, JavaScript, etc.)

Ability to inspire and challenge students of all abilities

Excellent classroom management and communication skills as a Computer Science Teacher.

A collaborative, flexible, and reflective teaching style
